Government had collected the water and soil from all places in a record five days
GUNTUR: Soil and water that has been brought from all over the state for the Amaravati foundation ceremony will be sprinkled all over Amaravati from helicopters. AP CM N. Chandrababu Naidu flagged off the Amaravati Sankalpa Jyothi yatra with water and soil kalasams from Acharya Nagarjuna University to Uddandarayunipalem. He said the government had collected the water and soil from all places in a record five days, and these would be sprinkled all over the capital region to mix with the soil of Amaravati,
Nearly 20,000 water and soil pitchers from 16,000 villages and 4,000 wards of the AP have been received, apart from contributions from elsewhere.
