Anjali’s next film is titled Chitrangada. “After Geetanjali, I am doing another women-centric role in Chitrangada,” says the actress, adding, “It is not a horror comedy, it’s a
completely different genre with a new subject.”
Anjali says that most of the film was shot in the US. “Almost 80 to 90 per cent of the film was shot there. There are only 10 days of shooting left and we are doing it here. I am confident that the film will be a good one.”
She will be sporting a different look in the film and has also lost some weight for her character.
Ashok of Pilla Zamindar fame is the director and Gangapatnam Sridhar is producing this film. Interestingly, the father-son duo, Selva Ganesh and Sela Swaminathan, has composed the music for the film. Chitrangada’s promos released on Tuesday and it is scheduled for a December release.
