Could two back to back flop films be the reason for his change of heart?
Mumbai: Nikhil Advani was in talks with Hrithik Roshan for a film tentatively titled ‘Bazaar’. It went on for many months and involved a lot of brainstorming. This is generally a practise where an actor and director meet for multiple discussions before finally committing to the project.
A source said, “ Same happened between Hrithik and Nikhil where they discussed the project in detail. Whenever Hrithik had time in between his schedule he would discuss his ideas and give his input. However something changed after Nikhil’s movie released.”
‘Hero’ and ‘Katti Batti’ both released back to back and unfortunately got a mixed response from the audience. While ‘Hero’ at least got Sooraj and Aathiya recognition as promising actors, ‘Katti Batti’ turned out to be a flop.
A source said, “ Owing to his flops, Hrithik on discussing with his close team members decided to not do his film. Anyways his hand is full with the shooting of ‘Mohenjo Daro’ and Victor’s next.”
