British police say the 40-year-old Stephen Port is a serial killer

London: A British man has been charged with drugging and murdering four young men he met on gay websites. Police say 40-year-old Stephen Port is a serial killer who murdered the men, all in their 20s, over a period of 15 months.
Prosecutors say he invited the men to his home, where they overdosed on the sedative GHB. Police initially did not link the deaths, which took place between June 2014 and last month.
The body of 23-year-old student Anthony Walgate was found in the street where Port lives in the Barking area of East London in June 2014. Bodies of two more men were found in a nearby churchyard, and another near a ruined abbey. Port made a brief court appearance on Monday and was ordered jailed until his next hearing.
