‘Capital ride’ from Hyderabad to Amaravati on Foundation Day

Hyderabad: A cycle rally will be taken out from NTR Trust Bhavan, the TDP head quarters in Hyderabad to Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh in connection with foundation stone ceremony of Amaravati capital city to be held on October 22.

Named as “capital ride,” as many as 502 people will cycle their way to Amaravati.

The capital ride will commence at 6.30 am. Depending upon their availability, Andhra Pradesh Ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs and other senior leaders have been urged welcome the “capital ride” group by standing on either side of the road when they arrive in their respective constituencies.

Arrangements are on in full swing at the venue for the capital ceremony on Oct. 22 and people are visiting Uddandarayuni-palem in large numbers to witness the preparations.

With many VIPS, VVIPs scheduled to come for the foundation ceremony, heavy security has been deployed at the venue.

The state has plans to build Amaravati as a world-class capital which people hope will bring recognition to the state.
