MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy: Why no action on Naidu in cash-for-vote?

He also found fault with Mr Rama Rao’s comments against Leader of the Opposition, K. Jana Reddy
Hyderabad: Senior Congress MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy on Sunday demanded the TRS leadership make public the progress in the cash-for-vote scam, especially what action has been taken on AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu who has been projected as the prime accused.
Mr Reddy reminded that TRS leaders like Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and minister K.T. Rama Rao had issued several statements earlier regarding the “involvement” of Mr Naidu in the infamous scam and had also threatened to send him to jail.
“Now, I want to know what happened to all these statements? Why is the TS government silent on taking any action on Naidu? What is the progress in the case? Leaving all these questions unanswered, K.T. Rama Rao expressed his enthusiasm to attend the Amaravati foundation stone laying function even before he was invited,” the Congress leader said.
He also found fault with Mr Rama Rao’s comments against Leader of the Opposition, K. Jana Reddy, saying “When your dad KCR is showering praises on the veteran Jana Reddy, you are ridiculing him and often passing insulting remarks.”
The MP asked the state government to clarify doubts being expressed by the Opposition on the implementation of TS drinking Water Grid scheme as the ministers responsible are skipping the crucial issues raised by the Opposition and were confining themselves to criticising previous governments.
