Ram Charan will be dubbing Salman Khan’s voice in the Telugu version of the upcoming Rajshri Production’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
“Salman Khan personally called Ram Charan and requested him to dub for his character in the Telugu version and Ram Charan agreed,” revealed a source.
Other than the wellknown fact that Salman and Chiranjeevi’s families are close, there’s another reason for Salman’s request to Ram Charan.
Around 25 years ago Salman Khan’s Maine Pyar Kiya had released in Telugu as Prema Pavuralu and had run for nearly a year in all the main cities in united Andhra Pradesh.
Even though it was a dubbed film, it had given the other Telugu films a run for their money. Also, Salman’s Hum Apke Hai Kaun had also done well in Telugu.
Since Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is also a Rajshri film, along the same lines of a family entertainer, “Salman Khan requested Ram Charan with keeping in mind his old films’ success.” Charan will be dubbing for the film at a studio in Hyderabad from Tuesday.
