Visakhapatnam: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, bagg-ed the IIIE-Performance Excellence Award-2015 for the second time in a row.
The award was presented to RINL-Visakhapat-nam Steel Plant at the 19th CEOs Conference held at Dubai, United Arab Emirates. On behalf of RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, GM (Safety) N.V.K. Raju received the Award.
RINL CMD P. Madhu-sudan, while congratulating the RINL for the achievement, mentioned that the award truly reflects the commitment and dedication of one and all in achieving excellent performance.
Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering (IIIE), a professional body has instituted this prestigious award at the national level to recognise, acknowledge and honour reputed organisations for their excellent performance by bestowing on them awards along with a citation. IIIE evaluated the applications received from different public and private sector units.
