Jayasurya and Ranjith Shankar, having worked together on multiple projects, have developed a special bond between them. Perhaps this is why the sets of Su Su Sudhi Vaathmeekam at Palakkad was less like a job and more like a family picnic for the duo.
“It was a wonderful experience working on the set because Jayettan’s whole family — his wife, kids and even his grandmother — was present on the sets throughout the shooting. Ranjith sir’s wife and kids were also present on the sets. It was a family atmosphere,” says Swathy Narayanan, one of the two heroines in the film.
The fact that the children of both Jayasurya and Ranjith Shankar will be sharing screenspace in the film also makes it special. Jayasurya’s son, Adwaith, who had debuted through Lal Bahadur Shastri, and Ranjith Shankar’s daughter, Tara, will be essaying roles in the film.
