Mumbai: The movie has opened with a total collection of 6.80c crores across the country and is heading for a good weekend. The youth across the nation is all geared up to watch the movie, this is pertaining to records of advance theatre bookings. And when it comes to Mumbai, the morning shows had 50% occupancy, which is a very promising start. The movie has released in approximately 1400 screens across India.
When asked Kartik Aaryan about this huge opening, he said, “I am overwhelmed with the response. My phone is jammed with non-stop calls and messages. I want to thank the entire team of PKP 2. I am very emotional about the success of the film.” When asked about the comparison from the first part, Kartik replied, “People told me that it’s a funnier film than the first. They even liked my monologue more in this part than in the previous one.”
Further on post promotions and city tours, Kartik said, “There is a positivity attached with the people around. I got more than I expected."
