Get ready for OnePlus Mini on October 29
OnePlus, the Chinese startup that shook the market with the OnePlus One and then later with the OnePlus 2 is all set to release its third smartphone, the OnePlus X. Teasers from the company’s CEO Pete Lau were released recently showcasing that the device, codenamed OnePlus X, will be launched at the end of October. However, some leaked information about the handset started dripping from Weibo, the Chinese social media website.
The leak came in from Wiebo, which mentions about the OnePlus X having the final name for the product as OnePlus Mini. The device seems to be settling below the high-end OnePlus 2 and aimed to the lower-mainstream or upper-budget segment. The OnePlus Mini will be unveiled at the October 29 event in China.
Tips about the OnePlus Mini reveal specifications such as a full HD 5-inch display, an MTK MT6795 chipset with 2GB RAM and a 2450mAh battery.
Leaked information from Weibo user ‘Leaks Fly’ also mentions the price of the OnePlus Mini. According to the leakster, the third smartphone from the OnePlus stable will cost around 1,399 Yuan, which evaluates around Rs 14,000 to Rs 15,000 in the Indian market.
