DHFL, in a letter to My Infra, said that the firm pre-closed the first loan and the second loan is overdue

Hyderabad: Sources close to Ms Swetha, the daughter of minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, denied reports about a RR court issuing an order to seize properties worth Rs 2 crore belonging to her. The sources confirmed that Ms Swetha gave collateral for the Rs 3 crore loan taken by Mye Infra Private from DHFL Vysya Housing Finance in two phases.
As the firm failed to repay the loan of Rs 1.5 crore it voluntarily came forward and surrendered the unsold flats for adjusting the loan. DHFL, in a letter to My Infra, said that the firm pre-closed the first loan and the second loan is overdue.
“The property of Ms Swetha was given as collateral for the loan taken by Mye Infra. During recovery the borrowers cooperated,” said DHFL senior manager Phani Kumar.
