Actor Ram Charan will be reprising the role of Jayam Ravi in the Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan and the recent buzz is that the makers are in talks with actor Madhavan for the grey shaded role played by Arvind Swami, which brought the latter much accolades.
It looks like Arvind Swami isn’t interested playing the same character again like what he did in Tamil and hence the Telugu producers have approached Madhavan, and we hear that the director Surendar Reddy is keen on casting him in the role. However, nothing has been confirmed yet. The project will go on floors by November end after Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee-2 hit the screens. Meanwhile, Thani Oruvan’s director Mohan Raja himself will be directing the Hindi remake.
