After Hamari Adhuri Kahaani, Mohit Suri will begin work on his next, a cinematic adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s Half Girlfriend, which is being produced by Ekta Kapoor. We have learnt that Mohit will soon begin to recce for the film.
A source close to the director told us, “In the movie, two locations play an important part in taking the film ahead, one abroad and one in India. Mohit has decided to go to New York and identify spots for his shoot. The US is not unknown to Mohit as many of his friends stay there and he goes there as part of his annual vacation. It’s needed in the script so he is going to NY with his core team next month.”
As far as the location in India is concerned, Mohit has decided on Patna to shoot the other portion of the film. Our source said, “Yes, the backdrop of the story will be Patna and the core journey of the main characters will be explained from this city.” Truly, a tale of two cities, this.
