Now, an art show for new capital’s development

Vijayawada: In a first of its kind programme, prominent artists from Telangana would contribute to AP capital Amaravati’s development through an art show in city soon.
The Cultural Centre of Vijayawada (CVV) is going to host the first ever art show — ‘Art Beyond Boundaries’ a collection of works by renowned artists from the state of Telangana. The three-day camp would be inaugurated by chief minister Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Founder of CVV, Mr Y Harish Chandra Prasad said selective and renowned artists from Telangana would display their painting arts and other creations at the show. Later the art works would be auctioned and the proceedings will be contributed for the development of Amaravati.
Mr Harish Chandra Prasad said that the objective of the camp is to re-establish the universal fact that art and artists have no boundaries.
Akriti Art Gallery in the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada which was established post-bifurcation has become a platform from various groups of artists across the state to display their works.
