Family donates son's organs
Seven organs of a 16-year-old student, Vijesh Naik, were donated to the Jeevandan scheme
Hyderabad: Seven organs of a 16-year-old student, Vijesh Naik, were donated to the Jeevandan scheme of the government after he met with a fatal accident while crossing a road on October 10. Naik, from Mahabubnagar, was hit by a vehicle and rushed to Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills. He was declared brain dead on September 11 and his family agreed to donate his kidneys, liver, two heart valves and eyes.
