Mumbai: Randeep takes on the role of the suspicious, romantic, intelligent, enigmatic, hypnotic and dangerous serial killer Charles Sobhraj. The makers of 'Main Aur Charles' have now recreated the 1980s classic 'Jab Chaye Tera Jadoo' which was sung by Asha Bhosle. The new version has been crooned by Kanika Kapoor.
It is a situational song which is played at an important juncture in the film and features both Randeep and Kanika. The song personifies the flamboyance and the magic of the character of Charles. The story is set in the ‘80s, and features the con artists escape from one of the most securely guarded prisons only to get arrested again in Goa.
The film also stars Richa Chadha, Tisca Chopra, and Adil Hussain in pivotal roles and has been directed by Prawaal Raman. ‘Main Aur Charles’ is slated to release on October 30, 2015.
