Hyderabad: A practising advocate who allegedly harassed a housewife to return the money he lent her a few months ago has been arrested by Nallakunta Police. He was released on bail later in the day on Tuesday. Accused Nallakunta resident Srinivas is practising at Nampally court.
As per the case, a few months ago, he gave Rs 20,000 as loan to a woman. She had promised to return the amount in a couple months. Srinivas repeatedly asked her to give back the amount, but she didn’t. Some 20 days ago he went to her home and demanded return of the money. “When she gave excuses again, he tried to intimidate her,” said Nallakunta inspector Santosh Kiran.
