There have been films like Vaalu, Yatchan, and more, where the protagonist was portrayed as an ardent fan of film stars. Though the trend exists in other industry too, the makers of the Mollywood film Paavada have created an interesting sequence. Many are aware of Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s command over the box office in the neighbouring state Kerala.
There have been a few Mollywood films like Drishyam where a scene from the actor’s film or his name has been mentioned. His recent outing Puli too opened big across the state, though the film later succumbed to a mixed response from the audience. Now, we hear that Paavada team is cashing in on Vijay’s star image in the state.
The film, which has Prithviraj playing the lead, will have him essaying a huge fan of the Kaththi star. According to a source, the movie has scenes where Prithviraj and others celebrate the ‘first day first show’ of Thuppakki, which released in 2012 and showcases the character’s craze for his matinee idol. Interestingly, the scene has been created for a fight sequence.
