Hayden Panettiere treated for depression

Actress Hayden Panettiere has checked herself into treatment facility, after admitting that she’s suffering from post partum depression (PPD). The 39-year-old Heroes star’s representative issued a statement to UsWeekly on Tuesday, stating that Hayden is “voluntarily seeking professional help at a treatment centre” and was diagnosed with PPD, after she welcomed baby Kaya last December with boxer Wladimir Klitschko.

Hayden, whose character on TV show Nashville is coincidentally seen battling PPD, also answered a questionnaire and gave a statement herself to the magazine, saying, “I suffered a bit of postpartum depression. You’re not alone or crazy, ladies!”
