Xiaomi Mi 5, the next most-awaited smartphone by China and the Mi fans around the world, could be behind the curtains at an event to be held in China next week. The teaser invitation for the unveiling of the Xiaomi product is out in the open on Weibo. The event will be held in China on October 19, 2015.
As for many fans out there, the Chinese smartphone giant would most possibly show off the Mi 5 flagship smartphone. But media analysts around the world are also speculating that the device is not a smartphone, but will probably be a tablet. The information on Weibo leaks out about a ‘plate’ and a ‘Windows 10’ operating system, which could only mean that Xiaomi is definitely unveiling a Windows 10 tablet. This could be the Mi Pad 2 with a dual-operating system—MIUI + Windows 10. This tablet was also spotted passing the certification with Chinese 3C Quality Certification Center.
So will it be the Xiaomi Mi 5, which has been long awaited for launch in 2015? Or will it be the Mi Pad 2 which was announced by Xiaomi to be launched in the 2rd quarter of 2015 and is due for launch? Come October 19, we shall know what the product is.
