Modi attacks Nitish Kumar, Lalu Yadav over sting operation

Mr Modi was campaigning for the second phase of assembly polls

Patna: As political parties faced the crucial assembly election on Monday in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi leaving no stone unturned to woo the voters addressed two rallies urging masses to vote in favour of NDA “for the development of the state”.

Launching a frontal attack against Nitish —Lalu combine, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the leaders of Grand Secular Alliance insulted “JP (Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan) on the day when people were paying their tribute to him”.

Prime Minister was referring to the sting operation which surfaced on Sunday evening showing excise minister Awadhesh Kushwaha taking money from a businessman.

Mr Modi said, “they claim that they are socialist leaders and follow the path of JP but see their real faces, they were caught red handed taking money in lieu of some work, and do you want such a government to return.”

Mr Modi was campaigning for the second phase of assembly polls.
