The 38-year-old rapper decided to try his hand at starting from the bottom in San Francisco. Wife Kim Kardashian captured the moment Kanye walked around the corner to perform for JLo, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban.
Kim posted a snap of the producer’s monitor and it was clear Jennifer could barely believe her eyes when Kanye appeared singing a capella version of his hit Gold Digger — including the line that name checks JLo.
Host Ryan Seacrest also shared a behind-the-scenes moment on Instagram showing an uncharacteristically smiley Bound 2 star excited after being sent through to the next round.
