Mumbai: Remember the dance moves of doe eyed beauty Alia on ‘Disco Deewane’ in her debut film, ‘Student Of The Year’? Nazia Hassan who passed away at an age of 35 sang the original song. Rumour mills churned out that Alia will be doing a biopic on Nazia Hasan.
Alia, who is gearing up for her first big release of the year, Shaandaar, clears the air on the rumour. At Shaandaar event held today, Alia said, “I am not doing a biopic on Nazia Hassan but I would love to do a biopic on her who died at a very early age. She was a singer and I am a singer too, so it will be interesting. ”
Post the release of Shaandaar, Alia has four interesting films, Udta Punjab, Kapoors And Sons, an untitled with Shah Rukh Khan directed by Gauri Shinde and a film with Ayan Mukherji starring Ranbir Kapoor.
