Meizu M2 launched in India, priced at Rs 6,999

It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Flyme 4.5 OS layered on top of it

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu, entered the Indian market only this year, with the launch of its flagship M1 Note. In these few months, Meizu has been able to impress many Indian smartphone consumers, and now it has launched another budget smartphone, Meizu M2.

The M2 features a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 pixels, which is protected by an AGC DragonTrail glass coating. The Meizu M2 runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Flyme 4.5 OS layered on top of it. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, a Mali T720 graphics processing unit, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage space, which is further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.

Further, the M2 sports a 13MP primary camera with autofocus, LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 5P lenses and full HD (1080p) video recording, and a 5MP front-facing camera. It is fuelled by a 2500mAh battery and offers 4G and dual-SIM support.

The Meizu M2 is priced at Rs 6,999 and is exclusively available on registration-basis on the e-retailing website Snapdeal.
