The audio launch of Kalyanram’s Sher was an emotional moment for the Nandamuri brothers. Jr NTR who was present at the event cleared the air regarding recent reports that he came to India during the shoot of Kick 2 to sign cheques to save his brother’s crunch-hit movie. “My brother never asks for anything,” he said and clarified that he came to visit his family. Stressing on the family aspect, Kalyanram appealed to fans, who were shouting ‘Jai Balayya, Jai Jai Balayya’, saying, all of them — NTR, uncle Balakrishna, father Harikrishna, brother Jr NTR and himself —belong to the same family.
“Please don’t look at us separately. We all follow the footsteps of our grandfather Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Tomorrow, Mokshajna (Balakrishna’s son), Abhay (Jr NTR’s son) and my son too will enter filmdom and follow the same footsteps,” Kalyanram says.
