Visakhapatnam: Explaining that ePragati, is the largest ever e governance initiative in this part of the world, state IT advisor, J. Satyanarayana, said, “ePragati is like Bahubali in egovernance sector as the vision and size is so huge, including the budget. It is grand like and to implement it we have the visionary leader, AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, as an architect encouraging us.”
In addition, Nasscom president Chandrasekhar said that e Pragati is one fine example, how technology can be leveraged to provide citizen services. “There are so many states that offer incentives, easy processes and procedures, land and infrastructure to attract IT companies. Why should the companies come to AP? It is because ‘AP ke pas Naidu garu hain’, like the famous dialogue in the film Deewar, ‘Mere pas maa hain’,” Mr Chandrasekhar said. Nasscom’s chairman B.V.R Mohan Reddy also spoke at the event.
