Over 35 Hyderabadis got together for 1 night of change, an event organised at Bapu Ghat on Friday. It was inspired by an incident in Mahatma Gandhi’s life when he was thrown out of a train in South Africa and how that one night brought about a change. The event started at 10 pm and went on till 12 am. People got to know a lot of interesting facts about Gandhi’s life and how Barack Obama, Shakira and Steve Jobs among many others considered him an inspiration.
“We want to inspire people to be the next Gandhi, who could take up a cause and pursue it like a leader,” says Vaibhav Modi, member of the team at the Mahatma Gandhi Digital Museum.
