Deepika Padukone denies pairing with Hrithik Roshan for ‘Aashiqui 3’

Mumbai: ‘Aashiqui 2’ turned out to be a massive success but it also made Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor youth icons of sorts. The third installment has been talk of the town since quite a long time. According to several reports, the makers are in talks with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. The two who are looking forward to work with each other, are yet to sign the dotted line.

For several years, the two have been pegged to come together, however the projects never materialized. However, when asked Deepika about the same at the launch of her fashion brand, she said, "No, Hrithik and I are not working in Aashiqui 3. Neither I have signed any other project with the actor. Till the time you do not hear any confirmation from my end, don't believe in any rumours."

Recently, rumour mills are also abuzz that Hrithik would be paired opposite Deepika Padukone in Yash Raj Films' next, which will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, of 'Dhoom 3' fame. However, the news soon fizzled out.

While Hrithik is currently shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker's ‘Mohenjo Daro’ with Pooja Hegde, Deepika is gearing up for the release of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ with Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.
