10 Enrathukulla directed by Vijay Milton is also expected to release on October 21

Going by the latest industry buzz, Sivakarthikeyan’s pending flick Rajini Murugan will hit screens on October 21. The movie, directed by Ponram was produced by Lingusamy’s Thirrupathi Brothers and has been lying in the cans for quite some time. Billed as a run-of-the-mill commercial entertainer, the movie, which has the Maan Karate star romancing Keerthy Suresh, was originally expected to release in July. The film was supposed to clash with the Dhanush-starrer Maari then, and many read between the lines and concluded that this was due to the alleged rift between the two stars.
Rumours were rife that the duo was no more on good terms, despite the fact that Sivakarthikeyan’s Kaaki Sattai, which released earlier this year, was produced by the Anegan star. Now, it seems like the road is clear for Rajini Murugan. Interestingly, Naanum Rowdy Thaan, a romantic tale starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in lead roles, which is bankrolled by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, is also set to release on the same day. Meanwhile, Vikram-Samantha’s action thriller 10 Enrathukulla directed by Vijay Milton is also expected to release on October 21. Seems like the stage is all set for an engrossing competition!
