Invited guests didn't turn up at the director's birthday bash
Mumbai: Omung Kumar who got applause for his power packed directorial debut 'Mary Kom' celebrated his birthday on Thursday night with his friends. His wife Vanita Kumar and producer Sandeep Singh organized a birthday bash on his special day. But the party turned out to be different from the expected guest list.
According to Omung's team who had sent a long guestlist to the media a day before the birthday included names like Ayushman Khurrana, Smita Thackeray, Farah Khan, Kapil Sharma, Vipul Mehta, Prabhu Deva, Sonakshi Sinha, Shraddha Kapoor, Rekha, Shahid Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Sunil Shetty, Boney Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Arbaz Khan and Kabir Khan
Omung’s team had shared the guest list of the celebrities’ before his birthday which mentioned Bollywood biggies who were suppose to attend the director’s birthday bash.
However, going by the pictures we saw Subhash Ghai, Suniel Shetty, Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Manish Paul, Kunal Ganjawala, Darshan Kumaar, Ronit Roy, Hussain Kuwajerwala and few more making their presence felt. We wonder what led to the absence of other people.
The director will soon start his next directorial, a biopic on ‘Sarbjit’ which stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda.
