Unhappy with an after-sales service? Send us your experience
Well, every manufacturer out there has a service center for after-sales service of their products. Each company ensures that the service centers are distributed evenly around the country and expect them to offer the best service to their existing customers. However, the truth is that it does not seem to be a good experience for all.
Many-a-times, you end up at the service center for a simple product-related issue, but end up with days, and even months without a solution. The main reasons—either the product’s bill is not accepted (or registered) or the parts are not available. Some even complain that the service centers cater to affluent customers or someone with a recommendation from a higher authority, and the others are pushed down the list.
We don’t say that all service centers are bad. There are some companies that pay special attention to their customers and prefer to give personal attention to each one rather than lose out on clientele in the long run. These manufacturers run service centers who will cater to only their products and product categories. However, there are many other manufacturers who opt for service centers who work with multiple brands. In the bargain, these centers cater with priority to those brands which pay them higher. Multi-brand service centers are cheaper to maintain as compared to the company’s own as the costs are higher than multi-brand service centers. There are a few too many brands that prefer multi-brand service centers, but in the bargain, they are sure to lose out on their precious consumers.
If you have visited a service center recently, we would like to know how your experience was. We would like to hear you out and voice out your experience to the concerned brand(s) about the state and quality of their after-sales service centers, be it good or bad. Write to us and share your experience with the other readers and definitely to the brands reading this topic out there.
Send us your experience (good or bad) about the service center, with complete documented proof. Write a short email to us mentioning the brand, product, service center (with name and address) and your experience. Don’t forget to send in photos and all possible documents to support your story, along with your name and contact details. We shall sift through each mail and display them in this very article.
We wish to highlight your bad experiences of the consumer to the respective brands to show them the sorry state of their after-sales service. And if your experience is good, we would also like to highlight them to thank them for the service and help other users know that there are some good ones out there too.
At present, we are open to the smartphone-related service center issues.

Brand: XOLO A600
From: Naga Jyothi Kiran (b***********n@gmail.com)
Via email: I have bought a XOLO A600 in MAY 2014. After using it for around 11 months, the phone started with a touchscreen problem. So I went down to the service centre and they updated the firmware / software. However the problem was still not resolved. Hence I finally gave my phone for service on 20th April, 2015.
Beginning that very day, my problems started. The customer service person said that they will take around 2 weeks to service the handset.
Till date, now almost more than 100 times, I have called the service centre. Whenever I called on a Monday and asked about the status of my phone, they would say call back on Wednesday. On Wednesday when I call, they would ask me to call back on Saturday. Then this would go on till Monday and so on. This cycle has been repeating continuously ever since. After 2 months, finally they gave me back my phone, but without a battery and the back cover. They gave back the battery and rear panel only 2 months later. When I checked the phone, it was not working properly. So once again, I returned it back for service. Now it is October and till date, I have not yet received the phone back from service.
I first gave my phone for service on 20th April 2015. It is now October 9 and I have still not received back my phone with any service done on it. I have attached my supporting document for your reference. Kindly help me. I request Xolo to please look into the matter and resolve the issue at the earliest.
