Centre keeping close watch on IS

Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary said that the NDA govt strongly condemns the Dadri lynching
Hyderabad: Union minister of state for Home affairs Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary said that the NDA government strongly condemns the Dadri lynching. Addressing the media on Wednesday after attending the 23rd anniversary of the Rapid Action Force, the minister said the government is also keeping a close watch on IS and will do everything to curb terror in the country.
“We are closely monitoring the IS. We have also caught those who are backing it online (some are reportedly in touch with IS through social media). Some youths may get misguided but the government is keeping vigil to block the entry of IS into India,” he said. When asked about the Dadri incident he said the law and order situation in UP is bad.
“The law and order situation in UP is not good. Communal clashes happen regularly in small villages. Law and order is a state subject. The Home ministry issues advisories when such incidents happen,” he said.
He said the Centre will expand the RAF by adding five more units. The Home ministry has already issued the order. The minister said the RAF is active in UN keeping missions. He praised the female unit of the RAF which is now participating in the UN mission in Liberia.
