Arrest warrant against Akbaruddin Owaisi, MIM studies legal option
Hyderabad: AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP, Asaduddin Owaisi on Wednesday said that his party will take legal recourse on the arrest warrant and the case registered against Akbaruddin Owaisi MIM floor leader in Telangana Assembly and his younger brother in Kishangunj district of Bihar for allegedly making inflammatory speech at an election rally on Sunday.
Reacting to the arrest warrant for his younger brother, Asaduddin Owaisi told reporters here at his party headquarters that their legal team is obtaining the certified copies of case documents including the FIR and the team will decide on the future course of action.
Replying to a question about the language used by his younger brother Akbaruddin Owaisi in his speech at Kishangunj against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he asked what kind of language is to be used after killing of 3,000 innocent people in Gujarat riots?
He said people will never forget the failure of Narendra Modi as a Chief Minister Gujarat in discharging his constitutional duty as the CM to protect life and properties of the people.
It may be recalled that addressing an election rally at Kishanganj on Sunday, Akbaruddin Owaisi had described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a ‘zalim’ (tyrant) and ‘shaitan’ (devil).
