Indo-Pak border is among few places on Earth that show distinct international borders

An astronaut aboard the International Space Station clicked the nighttime panorama of the Earth, which distinctly captures the border between India and Pakistan. Apparently, the India-Pakistan border is among one of the few places on Earth where an international border can be seen at night. The winding border between Pakistan and India is lit by security lights that have a distinct orange tone. The image was clicked while looking north across Pakistan’s Indus River valley.
Another picture shows the border zone looking southeast from the Himalaya.
