Neti Vidyasagar elected Deputy Chairman of the Telangana Legislative Council

He was earlier elected as MLC from the Congress and had served as Deputy Chairman

Hyderabad: TRS MLC Neti Vidyasagar was declared elected as the Deputy Chairman of the TS Legislative Council on Monday.

He was the only one who filed the nomination, after the deadline ended on Monday, making his election unanimous.

He was earlier elected as MLC from the Congress and had served as Deputy Chairman. He continued in the post despite defecting to the ruling TRS.

Hailing from Nakrekal in Nalgonda, Mr Vidyasagar was again elected on a TRS ticket in June last.

Council Chairman K. Swamy Goud will formally announce his election on Tuesday.
