Hyderabad: The watchman of a Federal Bank ATM at Koti was found dead in the booth on Monday. He was on the night shift. The reliever who came in the morning found him dead. Police said V. Narsimha Chary, 61, was a resident of Malkajgiri, and worked as security guard for the past over a year.
On Sunday, he was on night shift from 8 pm till 8 am the next dy. When reliever Kumar Reddy came to take charge, he found Chary was still sleeping. CCTV footage at the bank showed Chary was sitting outside the booth till 11 pm, and then went inside and slept. Apparently, he died in sleep. “We are investigating the matter,” said Sultan Bazar inspector Shivashankar Rao. Doctors at Osmania Hospital confirmed that the man died of heart attack.
