Mumbai: Aditya Chopra has always managed to steer himself away from the media glare and has always kept his personal life under wraps. Whether it's promoting movies, attending social events or personal celebrations, the famously elusive filmmaker avoids the public eye, thus adding to his mysterious aura.
The filmmaker who directed ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ in 2008, is all set to don the directors' hat after 7 years. He gave fans a sneak peek into his life by sharing a beautiful memory, through an imaginary dialogue between Aditya and his late father, Yash Chopra, whom he called his "go to guy".
On September 6, YRF announced that Ranveer Singh has been roped in for ‘Befikre’. However, Ranveer's self shot video caught our attention as it gives us a glimpse of the restricted fourth level of YRF studio. The hallway, which holds a different memory for every actor that ever walked in the YRF studio, showcases some very special moments shared between YRF and the legends it created. It also has rare pictures of Aditya with his family- Yash, Pamela and Uday.
Not many are aware of the fact that 'Raj' in 'Yash Raj Films' is legendary actor Rajesh Khanna. Rumour has it the the name Raj in the banner is Rajesh Khanna. Yash forayed into films with his first production 'Daag' in 1973 in which Rajesh Khanna agreed to act. The pictures in the hallway not only talk about their family's legacy but also about their dear friend, late superstar Rajesh Khanna.
With a mix of leather, wood and glass, the office beautifully fuses vintage and modern elements. The spacious office is well lit with open glass doors. Along with pictures of legends, several paintings of renowed artists are displayed.
But what is more heartwarming is that Aditya added his personal touch with those beautiful 'wooden memory boxes' that held mementos and showcased crucial moments of YRF's journey. The picture below is of the passage that leads to Aditya's office. That door leads to Aditya's huge cabin from where he runs the show.
Aditya has one of the most inspiring office spaces peppered with creativity and individual style. The filmmaker seeks solace in the beautiful garden space created on the same level. The fourth floor of YRF has huge spaces which are carefully designed into cabins for Aditya, Uday and Rani.
