Director wouldn't have made the film without Priyanka Chopra
Mumbai: Director Prakash Jha announced ‘Jai Gangaajal’ after 13 years to his first installment ‘Gangaajal’, which starred Ajay Devgn in the lead role. Now he is back with yet another powerful story of an IPS Abha Mathur played by Priyanka Chopra.
Film is all set to hit the theaters on March, 4th 2016. According to a close source, Prakash Jha wrote ‘Jai Gangaajal’ for Priyanka Chopra. He said, “I was waiting for the right script for Priyanka Chopra. While writing the film too, Priyanka was in my mind every moment. I can’t imagine anyone as Abha Mathur apart from Priyanka.”
While Priyanka is busy tasting the success of her American TV series ‘Quantico’, she is looking forward to the release of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ followed by ‘Jai Gangaajal’. It will be interesting to see piggy chops as an IPS officer.
