Vijay’s fantasy flick Puli directed by Chimbudevan has opened to mixed reviews and social media was abuzz with posts by meme creators. Now, it’s heard that the actor’s next, Vijay59 (tentative title), will have few scenes making a spoof of his own yesteryear films. The film directed by Atlee has the Kaththi star essaying the role of a cop, and according to a source, a lion’s share of the movie has already been completed. We hear that Samantha, who plays one of the female leads in the movie, has been a part of the shooting for a while, and the team has completed shooting for two songs and fight sequences.
The source adds that Amy Jackson, another heroine of the film, is expected to join the crew soon and the entire team is expected to fly abroad to can a song.
