The condition of the injured passengers is said to be out of danger, police said
Vellore: As many as ten passengers of a Tamil Nadu Government Transport bus were severely injured when it accidentally rolled down a slope and crashed on the road-side in the wee hours of Saturday.
According to Ambur Taluk Police sources, the state government bus was proceeding to Chennai from Bengaluru and as it neared Udaya Rajapalayam river road, near Madanur, the driver of the bus lost control and slipped down a slope on the side of the road. Under the impact, 10 passengers inside the bus were severely wounded.
With the help of 108 ambulance services, the injured were rushed to the Ambur GH for treatment. The condition of the injured passengers is said to be out of danger, police said.
