Lucknow: A father beats his 4-year-old daughter to death just because her dupatta slipped off her head. The incident took place in Bijapur station area in Bareilly district where the father flew into a rage on seeing his daughter without a dupatta on her head.
He began thrashing the girl, Farheen, while the mother ran to the neighbours for help. When the villagers reached the spot, they saw the man beating her daughter mercilessly.
The villagers were so terrified on seeing the brutality of the father that they did not stop him. After the girl died, the father began digging her grave and was about to bury her when the police arrived and took the body into custody.
