Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Irrfan Khan on Comedy nights with Kapil
Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to make her grand comeback on the big screen, but first she decided to make a pit stop on the small screen. The actress and her Jazbaa co-star Irrfan Khan stopped over at the sets of popular comedy show Comedy Nights With Kapil. The show, that has played host to several stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kajol, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra, but never to the Bachchan bahu. Ash and Irrfan, who recently began promoting their crime thriller, were welcomed with open arms on the sets of Kapil Sharma’s popular television show. The show, that is due to air shortly, was tweaked a little to match the theme of the film. Keeping the movie in mind, the guests in the audience were professional lawyers, law students and lawyers’ family members.
The beauty queen turned judge for the day as Kapil and his team held unique ‘handsome with brains’ competition that was held for the lawyers present in the audience. Aishwarya is all set for the nationwide release of her film next weekend, on October 9. While Ash made her debut on his show, Kapil also had another debut to celebrate. The television star turned actor, celebrated the success of his recent film and to commemorate the occasion, the two stars cut a cake on the sets.
