Farhan Akhtar's ‘Rock On 2’ goes on floors, Shah Rukh Khan wishes best of luck

Mumbai: The work on one of the much awaited upcoming Bollywood films, ‘Rock On 2’ has finally begun in Shillong. Film’s leading star, Farhan Akhtar landed in Shillong along with film’s director Shujaat Saudagar to kick-start ‘Rock On 2’s shooting.

The actor took to his official Twitter account to share the good news with his fans. Farhan tweeted, “And we're off and rolling and rocking.”

Reportedly, the film’s first scheduled shoot will go on for more than 2 months. The team will be shooting in several beautiful locations of Shillong.

'Rock On 2', will see Farhan Akhtar, Arjun, Purab Kohli and Pracchi Desai reprising their roles from the original film. Actress Shraddha Kapoor is an addition to the star cast.

According to reports, In ‘Rock On 2’, the story continues from the first film, and Farhan’s band ‘Magik’ finds a new member, Shraddha’s character, who plays the piano.
