Former ACP and 2 others killed in road mishap
The two vehicles collided near Kurmedu in Chintapalli mandal of Nalgonda district
Hyderabad: Former Punjagutta ACP Ramreddy and two others including a constable of the anti-terror Octopus force died when their vehicles collided in Nalgonda district on Friday. While Ramreddy, 64, was travelling in one of the vehicles, Octopus constable E. Sanjeeva, 32, and his mother Chandramma, 66, were in the other vehicle along with his wife Lalitha and four daughters. The two vehicles collided near Kurmedu in Chintapalli mandal of Nalgonda district.
Ramreddy with driver Aleem was travelling to Hyderabad from his native place Chintapalli in Mahbubnagar. Sanjeeva, 32, and his family were travelling from Hyderabad to their native village Vinjamur in Nalgonda district.
Ramreddy and Sanjeeva died on the spot, while Chandramma succumbed while being shifted to Hyderabad for treatment. Ramreddy’s driver Aleem suffered severe injuries, as also Sanjeeva?s wife Lalitha and elder daughter Akhila.
