June 2, 2017 deadline for Andhra nativity
The government would clear the issue after getting a nod from the Centre
Vijayawada: The AP government announced here on Thursday said that students and employees who shift to Vijayawada or the rest of Andhra Pradesh from Hyderabad and Telangana by June 2, 2017, would get local nativity.
The government would clear the issue after getting a nod from the Centre.
The decision was taken at a marathon meeting of the AP Cabinet, which was chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Ministers Palle Raghunatha Reddy and K Atchennaidu, briefing the media on the Cabinet meeting, said the government would ask the Centre for a Presidential order on the nativity status, if it is necessary.
The Cabinet decision would remove one big objection that the AP government employees had raised for shifting from Hyderabad to Vijayawada.
