Parents struggling to have children of their own have to go through many emotional upheavals in life. Rounds of fertility treatments and unsuccessful attempts can physically and mentally drain them out. So when Dana Griffin-Graves finally became pregnant after years of trying, she decided to break the news to her husband by doing something special.
Both Dana and Arkell Graves have been married for 17 years and always yearned for a baby of their own. However, after four miscarriages and a stillborn baby at six months, the couple decided to give up their dream of becoming parents five years ago.
After learning that she was five months pregnant this time, Dana along with her family, started thinking of ways to reveal about her pregnancy to her beloved husband. She put buns in their oven and placed their baby’s ultrasound picture next to their buns. She then captured Arkell’s emotional reactions on video to show to their family later.
