Short men tend to have fewer sexual partners than their taller peers
So the 'tall, dark and handsome' ideal makes sense
It seems the ideal of the ‘tall, dark and handsome guy’ does hold a kernel of truth. A recent study has discovered that men of a shorter stature have fewer sexual partners than taller men, reports the Daily Mail.
For the study project, the research team surveyed 60,058 heterosexual men and women, about details concerning their height, weight and how many partners they have had. The results showed that in terms of average numbers of partners, men who had average height to being extremely tall reported one to three more partners than men who were shorter than average.
The results of the study are published in the journal Evolutionary Psychology.
