Salman Khan’s big plan

Star mulls own social media platform. And true fans will need Aadhar cards

Salman Khan, who recently deleted inactive followers on Twitter, is planning to come up with his own social media platform where fans will get access only after providing valid IDs.

The superstar is presumably upset about comments from fake Twitter handles. “Freedom of speech isn’t only about expressing but taking responsibility for your words. It is very cowardly to say things through a fake account. Why can’t one exhibit his right of freedom under his own identity?” Salman asks.

The superstar is now planning to come up with his own social media platform. “We have tied up with brands to introduce our own digital platform. Users will be allowed access once they submit a verified identity proof. This will ensure that only genuine users become part of the network. Earlier we had tried to expose the details of fake users but decided against it as there might be youngsters operating these fake accounts. And they might be chastised by their elders. So we decided to instead allow only those who give us authentic ID proofs like Aadhar, ration cards, address proof, etc.
