Online shopping site assures no FIR was lodged against Ranbir and Farhan

According a customer filed a complaint alleging criminal breach of trust and forgery
New Delhi: eCommerce firm ASKME has said that no FIR was registered against its brand ambassadors, Ranbir Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar.
"This is to clarify that there is no FIR registered naming our brand ambassadors Ranbir Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar, as reported recently. The story was factually incorrect on this basis," ASKME and ASKMEBazaar Group CMO Manav Sethi said.
"And to further clarify, Ranbir Kapoor is the brand ambassador for ASKME.com and has never represented ASKMEBazaar in any form," he added.
"We at AskmeBazaar are seriously concerned and very strongly repudiate any incorrect information to the effect of duping or forgery," he said.
The comments come in the wake of media reports on an FIR that was registered by UP Police on the basis of a complaint by an individual against four company officials in Lucknow for alleged criminal breach of trust and forgery in the online shopping site.
